Minimalworks Shelter G:

my best shelter

Rating: ★★★★☆

I recently had the opportunity to use the Minimalworks Shelter G during a camping trip, and I must say, it was a remarkable experience. The shelter stood out due to its easy setup and sturdy construction. Even with only two people, we managed to set it up within 15 minutes, thanks to the clear instructions and lightweight materials.

What I Liked

The Minimalworks Shelter G offers an excellent balance between portability and durability. The material feels solid yet isn’t overly heavy, making it easy to carry from the car to the campsite. The spacious interior was enough to comfortably fit four people, with room to spare for our bags and gear.

Another feature I enjoyed was the ventilation. The shelter has multiple vents that ensure airflow, even on a hot day. We stayed cool and comfortable, and there was no condensation buildup overnight.

Areas for Improvement

While the shelter performed exceptionally well overall, I did notice a couple of minor drawbacks. The stakes that came with the package could be sturdier. On particularly windy days, they seemed to struggle to stay secure, and I ended up using my own heavy-duty stakes.

Additionally, the zipper for the main entrance sometimes got caught in the fabric if we weren't careful, which could be frustrating, especially at night.

Conclusion

Overall, the Minimalworks Shelter G is an impressive shelter that works great for weekend camping trips. It provides excellent space, easy setup, and good ventilation, which are all features that are important to me. Despite a few minor issues, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable camping shelter.
